Country Radio Broadcasters, Inc.® is now accepting applications from industry professionals who want to be considered for the 2019-2020 Country Radio Seminar (CRS) Agenda Committee. The application deadline is Friday, March 29th, 2019.

Uncut panel sessions and educational handouts from this year’s Country Radio Seminar (CRS) are now available for streaming at www.CountryRadioSeminar.com. CRS 2019 registrants are invited to visit the website to review or catch up on anything they may have missed during the week. Once in the site, handouts and videos may be found under “CRS 2019.”

Country Radio Broadcasters, Inc.® has released the full results of the research presentation, “Understanding Parents, Teens, and Country Music,” held during Country Radio Seminar’s 50th Anniversary Event.  Edison Research, who was commissioned by Country Radio Broadcasters (CRB) to conduct the study, examined the present and the future of Country Radio, Country Music, and how music and technology are passed along between parents and teens. The Country Radio Broadcasters, Inc. have announced long-time music industry veteran and outgoing Country Radio Broadcasters Executive Director, Bill Mayne, as the recipient of the 2019 CRB President’s Award. The award will be presented during the Country Radio Hall of Fame Dinner and Awards ceremony, to be held at the Vanderbilt Marriott in Nashville, Tennessee on Wednesday, June 19th at 6 p.m. CDT.

Country Radio Broadcasters, Inc. (CRB) has announced the recipients of two scholarship endowments, which were awarded to two deserving universities. The two endowments, valued at $50,000 in honor of Country Radio Seminar’s 50th Anniversary event, were given to Dr. Richard Robinson of The University of Tennessee at Martin and Dr. Butler Cain of the University of North Alabama. Each received a $25,000 endowment for the 2019-2020 school year.  

Country radio’s biggest event of the year, Country Radio Seminar (CRS) concluded on Friday, Feb. 15th in downtown Nashville, Tenn with a 10 percentincrease in attendance, compared to CRS 2018.  This year marked the 50th Anniversary of the conference and it was without a doubt one of the most memorable events in the history of the three-day seminar.

Six celebrated broadcasters will join the Country Radio Hall of Fame in 2019, as recording artists Dan + Shay revealed this year’s inductees during today’s (2/13) opening ceremonies for Country Radio Seminar (CRS).

The anticipation builds as more artists join the lineup for the CRS 50th Anniversary Opening Day Luncheon, hosted by Warner Music Nashville. Dan + Shay are the latest act to be added to the list, which includes previously announced artists Blake Shelton, Devin Dawson, Morgan Evans, Chris Janson, Cody Johnson, Ashley McBryde, and Cole Swindell.

A dynamic lineup has been released for one of Country Radio Seminar’s most anticipated events, the Big Machine Label Group luncheon, to be held on Friday, Feb. 15 during Country Radio Seminar’s 50th Anniversary event.  This year’s lineup will include Rascal Flatts, Brantley Gilbert, Riley Green, Lauren Jenkins, Noah Schnacky. BMLG President and CEO Scott Borchetta will host the event.

The official mobile app for Country Radio Seminar is now available for download on iPhone and Android mobile devices.  The CRS 2019 app, powered by Country Aircheck, provides attendees with an expanded CRS agenda, session descriptions, speaker bios, artists performing, integrated calendar upgrades, CRS after-hour activities, and other event news. Users can create their own customized CRS schedule, rate the panels, and post updates and reviews directly to their social media profiles.  Individuals can download the app through their phone’s app stores.

Garth Brooks, six-time CMA and ACM Entertainer of the Year, is set to make two high-profile appearances during Country Radio Seminar’s 50th Anniversary event, scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 13th through Friday, Feb. 15th at Nashville’s Omni Hotel.

On Thursday, Feb. 14, from 5:00-7:00 p.m., the Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum will welcome Country Radio Seminar 50th Anniversary event (CRS 2019) attendees to Valentine’s Day “‘90s Country” Style, a private cocktail reception with complimentary access to the museum.
