bob mitchell - Inducted 2005

Bob Mitchell worked at KCKC, San Bernadino, from 1966 until 1993 as Operations, Music and Programming Manager, in addition to being an air personality. One of his greatest memories was originating his show from the Opryland Hotel for one week following the 1976 Country Radio Seminar, for which he had served as Agenda Chair. In 1993 he joined on KHOZ in Harrison, Arkansas, which serves the Branson Missouri market, as Promotions Director. He considers his most important contribution to Country radio to be his professional behavior in all dealings. At the time of his induction, Bob was on the air weekdays from 10:00 am -3:00 pm. on KHOZ, where he conducted interviews with the stars who appear in Branson. Bob Mitchell was inducted into the Country Music D J Hall of Fame in 2005.
