ANGIE WARD - Inducted 2021

Angie Ward is the currently the APD/Midday personality for WUBL/Atlanta. In addition to her day-to-day duties in Atlanta, Ward voice tracks shows for WTQR/Greensboro, NC, WSSL/Greenville, SC, WKKT/Charlotte, KVET/Austin, and iHeart’s Custom Mainstream Country, which can be heard on 60+ stations across the country. Prior to moving to Atlanta, she had stops in WNEU/High Point, NC, WSTH/Columbus, GA, WMXA/Auburn, AL before being based in Greensboro, NC at WTQR for 18 years. Throughout her career, she has lent her voice as an on-air personality to numerous of radio stations coast to coast including WFUS/Tampa, WCOS/Columbia, WEZL/Charleston, WPAP/Panama City, WCYK, Charlottesville and WESC/Greenville . Ward has earned multiple industry awards for both programming and air personality achievements, including 2000 CMA Large Market Personality of the Year and six Country Aircheck Awards. She has also volunteered her time with numerous local and national charitable organizations and received honors from the Susan G. Komen Foundation and the “Can Do” Media Award from the Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest North Carolina.
