Panelists will detail how to build and expand personalities' and stations' fan bases across multiple platforms, including social media and beyond. The session will focus on utilizing off-air platforms to grow on-air revenue with newly branded marketing techniques. Emphasis will be placed on activating an audience via Facebook Live and other social media platforms, on-location appearances, on-air endorsements, and branded promotions and giveaways, as well as monetizing those efforts via new media revenue streams and sponsorship tied to a personality brand or station identity. This panel will study the cycle of personality and station identity development as it leads to branding, which helps to build a fan base, which can be activated to increase revenues in an ever-changing media landscape.
